I polled 10 Americans to get their initial opinions. Then I discovered that the RATS I had polled were all uninformed, lying, not very bright, and emotionally unstable, so I removed their ridiculous responses.

I staked claim to the name a few years ago when I first stumbled on Yahoo. It actually refers to a comedian's joke about "So where does Spam come from? Are there little Spam animals running around the woods?"
