My Confrontation With Jesse Jackson In His Lion’s Den
The Washington Dispatch ^ | 12/17/2001 | Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson

Posted on 12/17/2001 4:56:04 AM PST by Spin

It was thirteen years ago that I realized the reason for my failure in life was not racism but my own hatred. When I discovered and overcame my hatred, I also discovered the number that had been done on me by Jesse Jackson and others, and the despicably low and evil nature of this man. The man I had once thought a hero I now saw to be one with the devil, committed to keeping blacks angry for his own personal gain of wealth and power. I formed BOND, the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny, with the purpose of rebuilding the family by rebuilding the man, especially the black man, as he has been the most victimized by so-called leaders such as Jackson. My heart’s desire became fighting for truth. This additionally meant fighting against evil, and for this reason we at BOND have long been fighting against Jackson. For years I have spoken out against this man, showing him to be a racist demagogue and problem profiteer who would rather the black community parish in self-destruction than lose any of his power base. This past week I finally got the chance to confront this man face to face.

On Monday, December 10, I attended a Los Angeles Trade Bureau Forum Meeting held at the L.A. Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of the meeting was to unveil Toyota’s “21st Century Diversity Strategy,” a result of a Jackson shakedown of the Toyota company. In 2002, Toyota will be giving $700 million worth in contracts to minority businesses. However, it was implied by Jesse Jackson and others at the meeting, and not corrected by Toyota officials in attendance, that in order to receive these contracts, businesses should pay anywhere from $250 to $2500 annually to Jackson’s International Trade Bureau, essentially making him the gatekeeper to these benefits. Jesse Jackson and Irv Miller, Toyota’s Vice President for Corporate Communications, were the featured speakers. Over two hundred black business owners and representatives were in attendance.

Jackson’s speech contained such choice excerpts as, “I have been on the ‘red squad list’ by [Attorney General John] Ashcroft and others; they’re after us… They’re using bin Laden as an excuse to come after us. We [U.S.] gave bin Laden 60 million [dollars]. If we’re going to fight terrorists, we must also fight the Klan… Locking people out of economic opportunity is a form of economic terrorism.” Jackson also stated that minorities could not make it in America on talent alone, and that they must join his “Trade Bureau” or they could miss out on hundreds of millions in corporate dollars.

Following Jackson’s speech, Toyota’s representative, Miller, gave an approximately twenty minute presentation, then opened up to questions. I stood up and asked Miller, “As the president of a nonprofit conservative organization, BOND, I’m concerned that our young people will be locked out of any training programs offered by Toyota because of our conservative beliefs. How are you going to make sure that organizations like ours are not discriminated against by Rainbow/PUSH and its members?”

To put it simply, all hell broke loose. I was booed and told to sit down and keep quiet. Judge Greg Mathis, host of the TV show “Judge Mathis,” hollered at me, “You must be watching too much Bill O’Reilly.” Indeed. I was called “stupid” by Carl Dickerson, host of the event. Others were questioning why I would say such a thing, do such a thing, and so on.

Never have, never will. I can't stand their peace, love and dope atmosphere as well as their idiotic "flavors". Why doesn't anybody just drink friggin' coffee anymore?

I met the Rev Peterson at the FreeRepublic's March for Justice in DC Oct. 31, 1998 and was quite impressed. I still am; but am I the only one who bridled a bit at the issue that the Reverend raised, that is: "How come we black conservatives can't get a piece of the shakedown action?"

Tell me where I'm wrong here folks...

This article just goes to prove that Jesse Jackson's incessant ranting isn't about support for the black community ; its about fueling hatred and racism amongst blacks themselves and the continued funneling of large sums of money into Jesse Jackson's bank accounts. Is it any wonder that these people oppose anything that would reverse the trend of the dumbing down of kids via the public education system. If blacks learn to think for themselves in large numbers, Jackson is done and he knows it. He and his ilk are completely dependent on the sheeple mentality that will believe anything a pseudo-leader says if he yells it loud enough and backs it with enough money.

Thankfully there are growing numbers of blacks out there who recognize the lies and work at revealing truth. I am reminded of a scripture verse that says "the light came into the world but men preferred the darkness because their deeds were evil." That sounds like a perfect description of Jesse Jackson. Thank God for strong, intelligent men like the Rev. Jesse Peterson, J.J. Johnson, Justice Clarence Thomas and the many others who expose Jesse Jackass Jackson for the charlatan that he is.

Even more insidious, the "Black leadership" has struck all historical connections to the GOP. Blacks, especially those who feel that they're getting a raw deal, should feel connected to the party of Lincoln. Did you know that, prior to JFK, most blacks voted republican? Did you know that Jackie Robinson (whose popularity among blacks compared to MLK) and Dick Nixon were good friends? You'd never know it listening to the JJ's of the world. But, alas, they now control the schools and how "history" is taught.

I am not sure that was the intent of Rev. Paterson's question. He mentioned earlier in the piece that the membership fee to Jackson was not widely known. I think he was trying to bring this fact into the light of day. It was more him saying that if you were black, but didn't walk lockstep with Jackson, there is pretty much no way you will be seeing any of this dirty money. Paterson knows very well that as soon as you mention conservative beliefs at functions such as this, you might as well be wearing a Klan hood.

This meeting was a confirmation of everything I already knew about Jesse Jackson. Jackson showed himself to be an intolerant race-baiter, a rhetorical assassin, an anti-American, and a degrading and despicable demagogue. Jesse Jackson constantly talks about the strong presence of the Ku Klux Klan in modern society. Last Monday I saw the real Klan of today. Instead of drawling white southerners in white robes, the Klan are now black thugs dressed in suits. Both intolerant, both hate-mongers, and both committed to keeping black America down.

No mincing of words going on here!!!!

Good question. The interesting thing is how can Rainbow/Push collect grant money when they are NOT a non-profit.

Even if they were they still need to be looked into just like the majority of non-profits.

Wonder how many blacks will drive toyotas b/c of this.

Not this black woman. This is a shakedown designed to benefit the few while overlooking the real problems facing the black community.

Assuming Rev. Peterson's account is correct, JJ & Co. conducted themselves shamefully towards him.

I think this crap has gone on long enough...time for that train to pull into the station. If what the black leaders and the Democrat party keep insinuating is true....that the black race simply cannot survive and cannot see to their own well being without the aid of a network of overseers...then make it known!! Once that is established..we can then make arrangements to treat them accordingly.

If on the other hand, they demand equality and all that goes with it...and are just as capable as the rest of us to take care of themselves...then they have no moral and legal right to expect perks based on the color of their skin. You can't have it both ways. Which is it folks??

I don't mind kids dressing or talking like that all too much. We all cannot be cookie cutter 50's types.

Kids these days (or even in my not too long ago days) did not witness discrimination first hand. So it all seems, and is for the most part, history. Because of this, my children nor I will ever think or feel that someone deserves a special "bump" in the world simply because of the color of their skin or nationality.

That is what they're saying whether they know it or not. That is also why I wrote JJ & Co. off as credible black leaders long ago.

B.O.N.D.-acious BUMPAGE!!!!

If ANY of Jesse P.'s admirers from outside the L.A. area are going to be in town on MLK Day weekend, may I ask that you join those of us attending the Third Annual National Day of Repudiation of Jesse Jackson?

B.O.N.D. will be holding this event until Jesse Jackson repents...and seeing as I've made it a goal to write reports on this event as long as it lasts...I probably have an assignment for life!

DON'T HATE...but REPUDIATE...THE KLAN WITH THE TAN!!
