I personally may see your point IF you would provide us with a link or two from FR. If I remember correctly, that's where you claim you got the allegations of smear from. If they appear to have come from Eschoir, MurryMom, or Chris M, you could probably safely disregard them.

She thought it inappropriate. And she told people about it." If your point is that the rumor was true, I think you should back it up.
