For people who are always imploring others to read these documents, they have to be the most illiterate spongeheads I've ever met.

It's pretty bizarre.

It's pretty bizarre.

I'm used to it. I've been called on a number of times to interpret our constitution for the handicapped here.

"Try following the law, until you can change it."

The supreme LAW of the land is the US Constitution, and this man is trying to do something which will change an UNCONSTITUTIONAL and clearly wrongheaded local law. Say what you want about his methods, but at least this guy is doing something about it rather than the millions of so-called conservatives who just sit one their butts and let our constitutional rights get eliminated one after the other.

I could protest it or try to change it by going to the corner store and buying a gallon of milk. Both actions will have zero effect on getting the law changed, but his will play better with the coconut heads.

I guess the NMA made this all up then too eh Roscoe?

AAA trying to sabotage federal speed limit repeal. The National Motorists Association has devoted all its resources to repealing the 55 mph National Maximum Speed Limit. Major efforts have been focused on including the repeal legislation in the National Highway System Act. Successful in the US Senate, the NMA has shifted it's energies to passage in the House.

On the day of the first vote on the speed limit provision (Sept 7th), the American Automobile Association has attempted to undermine the speed limit repeal campaign by supporting alternative legislation, legislation developed by proponents of federal speed limits.

Despite the AAA's well-heeled campaign, the National Motorists Association prevailed in the Surface Transportation Subcommittee and repeal of the 55 mph federal speed limit was included in the House version of the National Highway System Act by a vote of 26-9!

America was founded upon civil disobedience. There were those then that were men of action and those then that were men of caution. I think we know where you would have been then by your words now.

The Second Amendment to the Constitution trumps any city ordinance. Whether that ordinance says you must wear a weapon or you may not wear a weapon.

I am all for the 2nd Amendment. But silly stunts like this take away from those of us that want national CCW.

If you read the article, one may not sue the city unless they have "standing." This "stunt" gives him standing to pursue the case.

A national CCW is first, asking permission to exercise your rights, and second a database for future confiscation.

For a such a smug, self-impotant twit, you aren't very bright.
