It's a shame there are no guts to stand up and do the right thing! As it has been said many times, Pray for America!
They didn't. It was buried.
You "move-on'ers" are the ones "obsessed" with Clinton.
I'm more concerned about what a CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION called the democRAT party will CONTINUE to do if nothing is done about the crimes IT committed the last 9 years. Many of those CRIMINALS are STILL in office, in government and in high positions within the democRAT party. And sooner or later, the democRATS will return to the Whitehouse and control of Congress. When that happens I would like to think it won't just be "Clinton 2". If the GOP doesn't do something now to FORCE that party to clean up its act, they NEVER will be able to because then the democRATS will always be able to suggest the GOP PARTICIPATED in the coverup of crimes as serious as MURDER and TREASON. Besides, where in that list of scandals did I mention Clinton? Are you trying to suggest that all those scandals were JUST about Clinton ... because if you are then you are being DISHONEST.
I've been reading lots of excuses (spin) people are making for GW.
I voted for GW - but I voted for him because I thought he was for the Constitution and therefore for smaller government. I am dismayed at all the executive orders and now executive privilege used. I'm not going to defend that or make up excuses for it just because I voted for the man or like him.
It is our job as WE THE PEOPLE to hold our leaders' feet to the fire. When they do wrong we should say so - or we will encourage more of the same.
You'd certainly think so.
But everything on Burton's subpoena is "deliberative material":

The most expansive view of Congressional Privilege that I know of allows them to seek material on matters which they might pass law on.
Apparently, in those 3500 documents he turned over, Bush has given them everything by that most generous standard.
Unless Congress intends to run the Justice Department itself.
I like the guy, but Burton is grandstanding.
"...i tell you we're DOOMED! ..."
Y'know, guys, goin' fishin' and drinkin' beer is sounding better and better!
I promise not to write an Opus when I leave. If I have to live in an Oligarchy, I'm moving to where the food and fun are. Stay well and well armed......FRegards
...for where?
On 'escapism': I like Omar Khayyam [and NO! - he was not a Mullah muthah]
