"Try to be a little more diplomatic, please. This is not the time or place for a theological lecture."

If this isn't the "time or place for a theological lecture", then, pray tell, what is?

All the mumbo jumbo "I don't care what diety you call upon, I am only interested in good power" won't heal or save. Prayer is only as valid as the One to whom it is directed. If human thoughts, wishes, and "vibes" will do the job, then why call upon a god?

As the Bible tells us, God only hears the prayers of His own.

I don't care if your Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Wiccan, Etc, etc ad nauseum.

First, has anybody bothered to check if this is real or a hoax? I have yet to receive anything through the e-mail that is not either a hoax or been resolved years before. I thought that meningitis was caused by bacteria, but I am no medical expert.

Secondly, it would be more important to pray for salvation of the soul and not just the body.

Thirdly, ad nauseum, that is to the point of nausea, is a good word to describe any call for prayer (or fasting) that involves Christain and any other faith. Sorry, but my closet is not for godless infidels. To pray for someone is far different than to pray with someone. One is within the second Commandment that is like the first. The other is one of the most hateful things a man can do.
