Every government since FDR has had scores of officials who have comitted treasonous acts. If they started prosecuting today, ten years from now, there wouldn't be enough prisons in the country to hold all the people awaiting their turn to face the gallows. The current administration is protecting these people, the system, and most importantly, themselves.

I believe the penalty for treason is death, hence there would be no need for additional prison space. Sooo,let the trials begin!!!!!!
