If no progress is made the Russians, Japanese, Chinese and then the Indians will run the solar system.

With current technology there are no profits to be made in space. I wouldn't count on any of those other countries dominating the Solar System. It's too costly.

Nope. If we did it right, the solar systen would be our new home. These are the same arguments that were made for the new world (America); too costly and no profit. Look what has happened in just 500 years. :)
