Once again, you're character and behavior is worthy of a roll model. I certainly understand the initial reaction to an unexpectedly large bill, but its follow-up that earned you my respect.

Now, on to other issues: Does anyone owe you, Jim, an apology for violating a certain sacred trust known and described as the Attorney-Client privilege???

"Something Bill Clinton could never do. Appologize."
To the Clintons, apologies are for the "little people"

read what Jefferson and Adams campaigns said about the other in the election of 1800...that's where the stories of Jefferson's "slave mistress" first became public...much worse than Gennifer Flowers' tapes.

I hate when I get Ally McBeal flashbacks. Bygones?
To: Sloth
That should be "implied." .................................And that was low class.

Good for you Jim.
Like many others on FR, I have missed Brian's astute observations and participation on this board. I hope he finds a way to join us again.

Class act, Jim. Humble pie is good for the soul. You've got the best site on the entire internet. Thanks for all that you do and for such a good example. Wish it were contagious and spread rapidly to the Body Politic.
To: Jim Robinson
God Bless you Jim and Brian too.

It was never my intent to defame, slander, libel, belittle, damage or otherwise harm Brian in any way. Is/was he threatening to sue you unless you issued this public apology? Sounds like it.
To: Jim Robinson; Clarity
Jim, you're a good man. We all do things we regret. Clarity, I hope you will accept Jim's apology and return to active participation here.

As Jesus instructed:
"Forgive us our trespasses...
AS we forgive those who trespass against us."
That's a very, very dangerous prayer. Whether AS means "when" or whether AS means "in the same manner," it involves us asking God to forgive us based on how or when we forgive others.

An apology and humbleness is never a bad thing to do when you are wrong.
These things is virtues.
We should all try to be decent to people of FR and apologize when we are wrong. And we should try be forgiving of others who wrong us.
Also we should try to open our minds a little and listen to other people's perspectives and concerns.

We have a family friend that builds homes. When we decided to build a house he offered to do it for us. He does very good work and was going to do it for a very reduced rate. We decided to use a different company. We felt we might have a problem confronting him if we didn't like something. He was disappointed but didn't take long to get over it.
After that he built a house for his in-laws. They ended up not speaking to each other for 3 years.
Doing business with friends is a dangerous undertaking.

Did you write this apology, or did Clarity write it and threaten to sue you if you didn't post it?

I've been there myself, Jim, and I know how it feels! We all say things in the heat of stress, and in anger as well as shock!
I miss Clarity's observations on various issues and learned much from it!
A Class Act, Jim! You're the greatest!
