That's right, 1977. The Hanafi Muslim hostage crisis took place at the Washington Brnai Brith HQ. It was notable for the terrorists following the media coverage on their own TVs, using the coverage of police moves to change their tactics. They also used telephones to call media reporters directly, bypassing the police negotiators. It was a groundbreaking event in these areas.
