Bomb Scare (threat) at NJ school???(my own title)

I just caught the tail end of this as it was on the way to commercial and they were saying "coming up on the 11 O'clock news, a bomb scare in NJ that.....

Did anyone else here this? It was during amazing race. I have not seen this posted here and I have not seen it elsewhere on the net.

Well since the 11 PM news in in 2 minutes, I think I will go see if I was hearing things or not. If so I need to take a break from the news for a while.

Ok just heard it on News 2 here in NJ/NY. In a North Bergen highschool there was a note left in the school saying it would blow up on December 14th. I am guessing this is a hoax. Just to be safe though most kids are not going to school tomorrow. Three day weekend for the prankster and schoolmates.

I missed the news story, but also heard the coming attractions. I was interested in why they were making a big deal of it since these bomb threats happen a lot out here in NY since 9-11. At my college there have been at least 5 bomb threats and an anthrax scare, but they never reported it on the news. They closed down the school for the whole day for the first scare, and all of the buildings, but with each subsequent threat, they lessened the amount of time and the area to be closed. They have to take every threat seriously, but it is getting to the point where if there was a real bomb, I don't feel confident enough that it would be taken serious. Sad to say, I honestly feel it is some opportunists taking advantage of the heightened awareness, just so they don't have to take tests!
