Of course, I have sympathy for them. But why should the U.S. taxpayers have to pay for their upkeep?
Do you realize how much $30,000 would buy in most places? She's going to have a hard time getting sympathy around this country.
I don't think the US taxpayers should pay anything, but I do think US citizens can help out this widow and her orphans through voluntary charitable giving. As for the $30K, wait until you have the full story before you wrongly judge.
