Three reasons why much of the nation now respects Al Gore and despises nitwits like Clinton and DU: Al Gore fully supports the President in this time of war and doesn't say anything to sabotage national unity. Al Gore doesn't publicly blame American for what happened. Al Gore doesn't run around saying what a better job he would be doing if he were president.

But does DU bother following Al Gore's example? Of course not.

Dissapointingly lame from the demoturds.

This is pure Denial & Delusion. Not even worth beginning to deride because it's all so absurd. Poor folks, they're really losing it. No wonder they're seemingly so hopeless and totally determined to wreck the economy.

What I wanna know is, can Al do all that, cut through a tin can and STILL slice a tomato? The Ginsu president, that guy would have been. Everything good about Bush, and better, with none of Bush's shortcomings.

In your dreams.

Al Gore would be a proud Commander-in-Chief, not someone hiding his shameful military record. Al Gore volunteered for the Army during the Vietnam War, and served his full tour of duty, including six months in Vietnam. George W. Bush used his family connections to become a pilot in the Texas Air National Guard, and after $1 million in training, flew for only 2 years before mysteriously being grounded - and going AWOL.

wow.

I'd like a nickel for every %#*$^$&! time I've heard some Goron say "If only Al was president....."

He's not. Get over it and get on with your life. If he's such a great guy, support him in 2004.

That'll insure Bush wins.

Al Gore would be in charge. On September 11, he would have stopped reading his children's book and flown directly back to the White House

No he wouldn't have, asshole. Seeing that the White House was a target, then it's up to the Secret Service to protect the President by keeping him away from danger. Bush had no say in his where he was taken.

Gore would never have been able to command the respect of the military that Bush does as CIC. That's just no small thing.

I thought Al was busy running his restaurant??? Was this another lie as well?

One ingredient they forgot, the nightly lie wrap-up.

He would not be sending the children of working families to fight and die, while passing unconscionable tax giveaways to the rich.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought that the Armed Forces and Reserves were VOLUNTARY. There's no draft that would force "children of working families to fight and die," let alone children of rich families.
