Al Gore would be in charge. On September 11, he would have stopped reading his children's book and flown directly back to the White House No he wouldn't have, asshole. Seeing that the White House was a target, then it's up to the Secret Service to protect the President by keeping him away from danger. Bush had no say in his where he was taken.

Gore would never have been able to command the respect of the military that Bush does as CIC. That's just no small thing.

Gore would have probably claimed he invented the Daisy Cutter if he were President.Well, as a matter of fact, he did. The inspiration came to him one day in Nam while he was gazing fondly down the muzzle of his M16 (ever seen that picture?)
This piece is REALLY spectacular bilge.

I thought Al was busy running his restaurant??? Was this another lie as well?
One ingredient they forgot, the nightly lie wrap-up.

He would not be sending the children of working families to fight and die, while passing unconscionable tax giveaways to the rich. Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought that the Armed Forces and Reserves were VOLUNTARY. There's no draft that would force "children of working families to fight and die," let alone children of rich families.

My response can be summarized in one simple expletive: bull. Who says these morons never speak the truth?

he joined the army as a PR move for Senator Dad (anti-civil rights man by the by) and given a nice comfy desk job far from enemy lines. How brave of Gore.

11. Gore has a beard and could better relate to the terrorists in negotiations. (sarcasm ON)

Also, the Gore Commission called for increased airline security, including making baggage screeners into dedicated public servants like police and firefighters
More like postal employees, DMV workers, toll takers, and IRS phone operators. Diligent bunch of heroes there.

I heard some guy on WABC-AM last night spewing the same rot. Might have even been the same guy ... don't really know, don't really care ... I was eating ... wish they had issued a "Barf Alert" ... OTOH, thank you for the courtesy.
