[Revolting cat!]

My dog, who's looking over my shoulder as we speak, is a four year old mix of something with something and I'll never figure out what the two somethings were. The vet at the SPCA where we got him as a pup, told my daugher, yellow lab and Australian shephard, but I suspect she didn't hear him right and I'm really not sure about the down under part. His colour is like a yellow lab, but then his brother the cat is the same colour. Short ears, long legs, long face, curly tail, loves to run, won't retrieve in the water.

I spent hours researching looking at pictures and still no definitive answer. Since he looks like a whippet, but bigger and like an Anatolian shephard but smaller, I conclude he is a mix of the two. On the dog walks in the off leash park I have noticed that people who appear to be working class (as opposed to the intelligentsia,) seem to know more about dogs and offer more interesting ideas about my dog's breed mixes. (But then, I forget the names of these breeds they mention by the time I get home.)
