I have no bloody idea.

But...........if she had ALREADY been given money, why did she spend it on cosmetic surgery rather than her mortgage payments.

She is indeed a brave person for what she did. I have previously thanked her for that by sending her defense fund a check and was totally embarassed when I heard about this extravagant, vain and wasteful act. I would have given her more credit if the money had been put into some kind of investment for a rainey day.

If my memory serves me right, Linda did not pay for the cosmetic surgery. I don't know why you'd begrudge her getting something done to enhance her appearance.

If memory serves, Linda was given the gift of the cosmetic surgery by an anonymous donor. The only address given on her website for donations clearly states that funds will go to her Legal Defense Fund. I find it sad and disgusting that the Jay Lenos and SNL comics, as well as the Clinton apologizers and media pundits, spent so much time villifying Linda Tripp's appearance by using the democratic modus operandi of politics of personal destruction. They succeeded in changing the subject from the president's crimes and destroyed Linda's image of herself so much that she changed it. My heart goes out to Linda. No one should be put through this kind of savagery for telling the truth.
