Try upgrading to Netscape 4.79. New version just came out last month for the 4 series browsers. Stay away from Netscape 6. It's a dog, imho.

Net 6 WAS a dog, but Netscape 6.2 works fine.

Just upgraded from Netscape 4.73 to 4.79 - no difference. Is FR suddenly part of the Micro$oft conspiracy? :-)

I spent about 10 minutes looking for 4.79 on Netscape's website w/o success. Do you have a link to the download?

I feel like a real idiot. I went to your link, but I don't have Windoze. I have an iMac, Mac OS 8.6. I would like to download Netscape Communicator 4.79 for the Mac (I'm using 4.5), but I can't find it.

I spent twenty or more minutes searching, and now I'm getting really PO'd at netscape. They keep trying to shove 6.2 in my face.

Their seach functions stink. I know I'm not terribly bright, but I ain't stoopid. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. [/rant]
