I noticed the same thing - it started this past Saturday or so. It seems to be a page rendering anomaly related to html tables. You should also notice a "hesitation" of sorts between the time that the html is received by your computer and the time the actual text comes up.

As a netscape 4 user, I notice more pages that trigger this bug as time goes on. I will likely switch, but to mozilla, which I've been using on my solaris/linux/bsd systems for the last few months, rather than IE.

Netscape has a bug that causes pages with nested tables to load very slowly, sometimes not at all. The problem is particularly bad when the whole page is a table, with other tables nested inside...

I still like lynx. It's been ported to almost every platform including windows and I don't need a window manager to run it.
