George- Sounds like a good idea if the law would apply. They sure act and operate like a conspiracy. In above article I mention the ALC as the owners above the lake when it is really the Nature Conservancy. The ALC is one of groups trying to buy the land and water rights. The local paper is owned by a bunch of greenies who own liberal paper in state capital. All the study groups and stakeholders collect gov money, donations, etc to run their operations. Fixing the environment is big business and they all are tied together. Lots of lawyers involved and growing gov agencies. Be nice if RICO could be applied to the whole bunch.Ed Hubel

H, Considering the national aspect of many of the organizations, including especially the "national Conservancy", I have no doubt the laws could be applies considering the debilitating effect they have on private property owners. There is NO WAY their policies are not deliberately designed to do exactly what they are doing. Buying property at "fire sale" prices after MAKING tha price of the TARGETED property drop like a rock. I DO have doubts about finding "lawyers" who would take the cases. Unlike tobacco, godgov is on the side of the thiefs this time. Or maybe like tobacco{?}. Peace and love, George.
