4. Mike Enzi
5. Craig Thomas

Zell Miller. An old-fashioned Democrat who will vote his conscience over the polls or the leadership every time. If only we had some Republicans as strong.

Wow... not far from what I was thinking, but I wouldn't be rowdee enough to actually POST it! =^)
It's a tough call... there has been SUCH a lack of decent leadership in the Senate that I think I'd have to go back several sessions to find anyone worth giving a 'thumbs-up'.

1. Phil Gramm.
2. Don Nickles.
3. Rick Santorum.
4. Sam Brownback.
5. Zell Miller.

What do you think is so great about Larry Craig?
I attended a town hall meeting of his in the town near where I live.....I must tell you I wanted to puke....to have a Senator prance back and forth in front of his constituents (in the courtroom where this meeting was held) wringing his hands as he discussed 'the King's lands)--our public lands, with the King obviously being the Pervert'; and in repsonse to a question regarding a problem brought about by NAFTA, he commented that "they were unaware of that at the time it passed; that we had to wait 5 years before it could be reviewed/redone"......excuse me, Senator, but don't you read this s**t BEFORE you vote?

Remember Zells speech during prime time in 1992. He said "Bill Colnton Feeeeeeeeeeeeeels Yoooooooooouuuuuuuuur Paaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnn". I have lived in Georgia every one of my 39 years. Zell has alot of making up to do just so I can respect him after the 1992 DNC speach!

Don Nichols from Oklahoma? Geeze.....he's the one I heard back in late summer saying he didn't think there was a problem with spending more than what they have....excuse me, Senator, but where the hell is your brain? Why don't y'all just declare you are taking all the $$$$$ and will mete it out to all of us if we're good little slaves!!!

NRA, and also he is opposed to the CARA bill.

Frankly, I am so damned sick and tired of all of them......at election time, feed the suckers a line and once elected pretend they were never fishing!
There are none of them that have manly gonads to provide hormonal levels to stand up and be counted as a statesman who holds to and honors the oath of office they took.
And these SOBS think they're worth $150,000 a year plus all those little ol perks! Sheet, our volunteer animal shelter folks do a better job of stewardship than these hi-paid scum.

I used to belong to the NRA.....I quit when they started shoveling Pat Williams, the liberal a-hole as Representative from Montana....The 2nd is vitally important to me and many others....but my guns can't fight every battle these SOBS put to us.
I live in Idaho....I wouldn't/won't vote for Craig for anything--except to get the hell out of DC.
For all the talk about property rights and public land usage, oh....recall the Utah land grab outrage....how all the senators from out West went on camera and puffed up and moaned and groaned they were gonna do this and that and whatever else.....THEY ALL LET THE PERVERT'S BILL PASS ON EITHER UNANIMOUS CONSENT OR VOICE VOTE LATE AT NIGHT!!!!
