Does anybody remember when 512 megs of ANY type RAM would have cost the same as a down payment on a car?

Oh Lordy! Yes! I'm trying to revive a 66 mHz 486 board to use as a backup web browser ( No. I am not kidding; it's the second best MB I have! ) and was recalling the first time I upgraded a Tandy 1000 SX (?) from 384K to a "full" 640K-- cost an arm & a leg, took forever to get the IC's ( remember the memory shortages we used to have? ), had to get a bootleg copy of DOS 3.3, etc., etc.!
