The President simply orders the Secretary of the Treasury to stop cutting checks to Ms Wilson, effective immediately. He also orders that her payments go instead to the new Commissioner, who has been sworn in.

This idea makes a lot of sense. They should also throw this crazy woman in jail for being to stupid to breath.

Why do you assume I want Berry to win the issue ? Just because I am capable of seeing the arguments without prejudice doesn't mean I want the outcome. I would rather see the commission disbanded, or have a conservative majority but not at the expense of perverting the normal interpretations.

I am willing to bet we are on the same side. Think of it this way. You and others think you are going to fight someone who is unarmed (ie unarmed with no legal leg to stand on). I found that she does have a weapon. Should I stand back and let my friends enter this battle unprepared ?

Well I can appreciate that; however, if I were in your shoes and doing that - I'd make it CLEAR what I were doing. You have appeared to almost go out of your way to come across as just the opposite of what you're now claiming is the case. When you're playing Devil's Advocate for instruction, be sure you don't come across as The Devil or you lose your target audience and message. Keep it simple for me :)

I hope they can find some way to get around this because this is the most arrogant attitude I have seen in awhile. The woman should be grateful for having been chosen to serve but it appears more like she and her buddy are desperately trying to keep her in power to do as much liberal damage as possible.

I guess it's too much to hope for Bush dismantling them altogether.
