I would wager the "American people" aren't a consideration one way or the other. They'll do as they're told - period. If you can believe a recent poll, and I use myself as a litmus test, it showed ordinary people are more afraid of the IRS than any terrorist action. Surprising? No not really. Lame, pathetic attempt to make your point. I dislike the IRS as much as anyone here - but calling them terrorists is like the abuse of the word Nazi for anyone you disagree with - it cheapens the horrific meaning of that term.
