Verry interesting.
Sorry about the partial butchered post. I hate MSNBC's format.

I hope this proves to be just another nail in his coffin.

Article makes him seem to have been in a semi-catatonic state. Did he do any fighting or shooting at all? Right before the prison revolt, news stories were that Taliban soldiers who wanted to defect were being executed.
Its so murky how he got to that point; very likely he won't be charged with anything.

Let's see... Johnny Spamm out there in the middle of east bumf*ck risking his life for his country and uncooperative American traitor Walker fighting against America. And who gets the media coverage?
Reading the story made my heart so sad for Spamm. And so ANGRY at the media for rushing to hear about poor Johnny from his father.
MEDIA WAKE UP!

There's the story. A guy that continues to get
too many chances. Why don't people realize a good example of consequences (execution) needs to happen to stop lots more of the same behavior!
Now.

Why was this vieotaped? Or allowed to be? Or released?

This young American must be excecuted. If he is released then it will appear that only non-White or non-American members of the Taliban face the hangman's noose. Really, there is no way to allow this kid to live. It is sad, and I sortta feel for him. It appears he got caught up in the Nor Cal. sloppy/silly liberalism/do what you want, and he was quite young when he converted etc. But still.......he must die.
To: Pokey78
The traitor is toast. He was engaged in a military operation against American soldiers and there's video to prove it.
If he isn't room temperature yet he should be.

He should have been executed on the spot. All Spann and Dave had to do was look the other way for a few seconds. I'm sure the NA guards would have been cooperative.
To: Pokey78
So, Walker lied and his family lied.
Walker had his chance to claim American citizenship and surrender to Americans, but stayed loyal to Al-Qaeda. Coerced? No. There by chance? No. No opportunity to surrender? No. Worried about retaliation? No.
I can't describe the depths of the revulsion and anger I feel toward that traitor. A firing squad would be too quick and too good for that traitor.
To: True Capitalist
President Bush decreed that no Americans would be tried by military tribunal. Too bad, in this instance. Walker made his choice and he chose to foresake his country and even his language.

Gaelic is also called Irish. People in Ireland use that term all the time. However, I think there could be an out of place comma in the article. Perhaps he was calling him Irish, recognizing him as causasian. "What language do you speak Irish? Pakistani?"

Ok, the kid was fighting as a Taliban fighter - he is no longer an American - let him receive whatever treatment the other prisoners receive. If he's returned to the U.S. it will just result in a huge media circus...
