They did. It's called Jordan. Palestinians already have a 'state of their own'. The whole issues of palestinian statehood is a crock. It's the arabs who are at fault here imo. They've had 40 years to absorb the palesinians who displaced themselves from Isreal. They are nothing but pawns.
