If Mary Frances Berry talked back to a boss like that in the private sector and challenged the boss's right to put a new hire to work she'd be fired on the spot and be spun out of the door so fast she won't even know she was gone. She's openly defying her legitimate superior the President of the United States and she's been read the riot act.
