The first sentence is essentially true. The second sentence is not. There could be no decision at the time to shoot down hijacked aircraft since it was the first attack of its type.

Just because I post an article does not mean that I agree with every word or sentence in it. However, the jist of the article is very disturbing because the CIA knew very well that an attack involving highjacked airliners was coming and did nothing about it. Either they are totally incompetent or they let it happen.

I would like to hear from any source who can tell me anything done by the CIA or FBI in the weeks preceding the attack to fend off that attack.
