There's no need for us to judge them; Christ already has. If I say that what they are doing is immoral, perverted, and deviant, I am not the one who is judging, Christ is. He is the one who has said that homosexuality is a sin and that sinners will burn in hell. He is so loving that He will forgive their sin if they repent and ask Him to lead their lives.

I'm sure Christ has his opinion on this little matter, and I'm equally sure he hasn't shared it with you! There is no way of ACTUALLY knowing whether he condemned homosexuality, because there is not a single word in the bible that he actually WROTE.

Let any gay or lesbian who is otherwise caring, compassionate and tolerant, go to the gates of heaven and we will find out then what God and Christ think.

I posted this one because it's a hot topic. I happen to support the rights of the students to elect whoever they damn well please as class couple. Christ hated sin..He called people to repentance,because He knew the end of the unrepentent. Scripture tells us to be Holy as He is Holy..if you have a Christ that closes His eyes to sin we have different Gods

How are they "encouraging" any behaviour? Is telling kids that it is okay to be heterosexual "encouraging" them to engage in premarital heterosexual sex?

They are encouraging homosexual behavior by their condoning a couple who do not follow the norms of human sexuality. School isn't a place for heterosexual sex education either. School is a place for mind-expansion not titilation.

You are mistaking love and forgiveness. Christ's love is unending, everlasting, inexhaustible, and unconditional. Christ loves them more than humans can comprehend; He died for them.

However, forgiveness DOES come with qualifications and is not given unconditionally. It is given to those who accept His sacrifice on the cross and repent for their sins. He does not forgive those who do not seek forgiveness, but He loves them.

Don't get me wrong, I love these people as human beings, but I hate the sin. Note, it is not the person I hate, but the sin. Christ also hates their sin.

I've always considered "condone" as a neutral action -- to condone something means to not try and stop it, but not try and encourage it either. I don't see how you encourage actions by condoning it. Further, if the school shouldn't condone the couple, what should it do?

The problem here is that I've not seen a lot of STDs that are prevailant amongst lesbians (as opposed to heterosexual women or homosexual men), which is what I specifically asked about.

THAT'S the problem! This perverted lifestyle has wormed its way into the realm of normalcy and is now acceptable among today's youth.

IMNHO, homosexuals do not want to only be tolerated, they want to be CELEBRATED, as is the case here and in the increasing number of gay pride parades and clubs on school campuses.

SEXUALITY DOES NOT BELONG IN SCHOOL!! What happened to LEARNING (reading, writing, arithmetic, etc)? It has become secondary to the indoctrination of the students into the "diversity=good, morals=bad" crowd.

High schools are sexually-charged environs... and bi-sexual and lesbian girls are VERY popular. Many label themselves that way even without any experience, just for the popularity boost. (Students told me first-hand, not just speculation)

The really weird thing for me lately is the number of 8th graders getting their tongue pierced. I noticed an slightly odd lisp to one of my sweetest, quietest, chubby-therefore-less-popular girls today... and noticed the glint in her mouth as she spoke. I couldn't help but wonder why.
