alumni everywhere threatening to stop donating. In fact, we got word from a good source in the alumni association that the administration was poised to lose over $1,000,000 in alumni contributionsWere I an alumni of this college, I would withhold my contributions in spite of the belated allowance of flag display and apology. These phony apologies mean nothing. The mind set which brought about the flag ban in the first place is undoubtbly unchanged. The only thing these people will understand is actally losing the donations.
These apologies are like Hillary, et al, giving back illegal campaign contributions and this somehow erasing the crime. Try stealing a car, then offering to give it back and walk away....HA!

As the stars and stripes fly proudly all over America, many colleges are banning the American flag and other patriotic symbols deemed to be "offensive." What country is this happening in? Surely not the U.S. Are we going to be barred from going to church now because our religion offends atheists?

they had reason to remove the flag because it was "insensitive to all the international students that live in the dorm." this statement is just becoming a tired old excuse to hide the fact that the faculties hate America, capitalism, and liberty. I can't imagine that foreign visitors are so indiferent to the symbol of our country.

Hmmmm?? Why don't a bunch of parents (you know, those people who have scrimped and saved to send their children to college), why don't they get together and withdraw their funds and their children from college. I wonder how fast the policy would change?????

When we run out of Taliban targets for air strikes, I have a few suggestions.
It'll save on jet fuel, too, but, hopefully, not ordnance.

Anyone know if the article about the congressman working on a bill to withhold federal funds for "not" displaying the flag is on FR?
