Ah yes, oleo. To this day I really get ticked off when we go to a nice restaurant and they bring us the rolls with margarine. I may use margarine for cooking, my kids may prefer it. However, I AM from Wisconsin and I use BUTTER! Believe me, the restaurant management ALWAYS hears about it. :-) Take care, God Bless, and Merry Christmas!

However, I AM from Wisconsin and I use BUTTER!GOOD FOR YOU, SUGAR! We're the same way. Don't EVER try to pawn that other crap off on us. Butter in the butter dish, butter in the cookies, butter for sauteing (sp?), and eggs are to be fried in butter (okay, occasionally bacon grease).
Margarine has NEVER crossed our threshold. I thank God every day that I married a woman from Wisconsin!

Believe me, the restaurant management ALWAYS hears about it. :-) Take care, God Bless, and Merry Christmas!I can tell you the first time I ate at a Waffle House & saw this line on their menu: "We Proudly Serve Shedd's Spread" I thought I'd swoon. My grandma lived to 89 and ate butter every day. The one time my mother tried to serve oleo to my dad--well, I can safely say the air in that kitchen is probably still blue. I use oleo sometimes for baking, but we use butter for everything else. And Merry Christmas to you! I finished my shopping this week and I am sooo relieved. Next, the cards--this year, postcards (for obvious reasons).
