I boil my brats in beer...then I grill them (sorry, on my side of the state (God's Country) we call it grillin'.) And that's about all Blatz is good for, along with Old Milwaukee and Grain Belt.

How about going to the Piccadilly Bar on Main St. (after curfew in the mid '60's) and meeting the REAL Packers? (long gone pub) P. Hornung, etc! As for brats, grill first about 2/3 way and THEN put in a coffee can on the grill top, fill with beer to tops of brats, and simmer. You'll never have a dry, wrinkled brat again. ......anyone else STILL have your 18 yr ID card for Wisc "teen bars"???
