The Arafat ERA IS NOW OFFICIALLY OVER!!! BYE BYE PUNK!!!!

Why is this not good news? Seems to me, when Arafat was in exile in Tunisia there was far less violence in Israel.

Don't count him out for a while. He's the best "survivor" I've seen in my whole life.

It now appears the IDF is INDEED looking for his INFAMOUS BLACK BOOKS on who he issues payments to and who his AGENTS ARE!!! when the ISRAELIS get these ARAFAT IS DEAD FOLKS!!! EVERY ISLAMIC EXTREMIST will want ARAFAT DEAD!!!!

I think Hammas will do some polling and focus group work first, then decide. :-)

I am so surprised that liberals and the media (yet, I repeat myself) have finally come to conclusion that Arafat is not serious about stopping terrorism. This is the same conclusion that conservatives came to years ago when Arafat refused to implement or enforce one damn thing from the Oslo Accords.
Isreal will not kill him now because the void would just be filled by an even more radical fundamentalist.
I heard that in 1981 Sharon had a sniper that had a bead on Arafat in Beirut, but he hesitated and therefore lost the shot.

Maybe Jesse Jackson will proclaim himself the official spokesman for the Palestinians, too.

These Israelis don't waste any time when they set their minds to do something. Good for them.

Surely it would be more to Israel's interest to have the Palestinians officially under Hamas and Sheikh Yassin, who everyone knows to be monstrous, than to let this little sicko slicko Arafat continue to becloud the issue.
