Several things in the above paragraph struck me. I have watched the footage of John a couple of times and it is not difficult to discern that this young man is possessed. His comrades who bit Mike Spann to death and skinned the three reporters (and many other atrocious acts committed) all point to demon possession - all Satanic behavior!
You are absolutely correct. The Bible says that our battle is spiritual, that we have spiritual enemies and if we yield to them, we will become like unto them and be servant to them. When parents train up their child in the way that he should NOT go by feeding him devil's food, allowing him to read devil's food (such as Malcolm X and the Koran), then they will reap what they have sown and he will become a son of a devil instead of a son of God.
Ro 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
A few days ago a 12-year-old was charged after he murdered both grandparents by shooting them in the head with a shotgun and fleeing in a SUV. The situation is full of indications (for anyone acquainted with how demons operation) of how satanic influences operated from years before and how people were taken unawares because they did not heed warnings.
Mike Spann being bitten to death and others being skinned alive is clear evidence that there are big dog demons involved. There is no defense against them except in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ/Yeshua and that is NOT just bandying about his Name like a magic potion, but in KNOWING Him and being obedient to Him. People who live their lives in sinful behaviors proscripted by the written and living Word of God make themselves walking targets for spiritual attack by enemies which are bigger than they are. Sin blocks hearing God and God heareth not sinners, even if they say that they are Christians. There is no remission for sin without repentance and restitution.
If a country or an individual does not obey the Word/Lord, then they should not count on Him fulfilling promises about protection because they are not living up to their half of the covenant. The best thing a country or a group or an individual can do to protect itself/himself, is to REPENT and walk in holiness, purifying oneself and thereby closing the doorways to one's soul, they may be delivered and not taken captive again.
2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
While many people are in John Wayne kick butt mode, they need to listen up to what people are saying about satanic nature of their enemies. A serious read of Lev. 26 and Deut. 28 is in order!
