Fox 45 Sunday News Baltimore reporterette just ended her report of the event by mentioning that "a few scuffles" broke out" - but were quickly handled! "At a lighting ceremony?" said the incredulous co-anchor! That sounds to me like they MAY have actually fairly reported what happened that afternoon. Emotions were running quite high for a lot of people there, however, contrary to what one or two nasty FReepers who've posted on this thread would have you believe, it was overall, a very happy and truly joyous event.
P.S. I've been a "pollwatcher", too. ;-)
