Mark Steyn would be a national treasure if he were an American. How can you not love someone who crafts something like this?

Oh, I don't know. Advertising is the reason you (if not, you're a paragon) believe that journalism could and should be objective--that we have a right to the truth. Whereas the First Amendment says pretty much the opposite--that publishers and speakers have the right to be wrong.

I believed that claptrap for decades on end, myself. Don't underestimate the power of advertising.

I have always found Miss Hitlery to be shallow and unimaginative. She speaks...as...though...she...is...addressing...a...kindergarten...class. I used to think her manner of speaking was the result of her thinking that her listeners were all stupid. Lately I've been convinced that her manner of speaking is due to her lack of knowledge and skills.
