I always keep a kitten around to alert me to places that are evil. I won't go anywhere the kitten won't go. This has caused me trouble at the office, as I am unable to enter my boss' office. I have also found that a litter box or saucer of cream is an effective talisman against evil; when placed in evil places, the evil vanishes and my kitten finds it safe to return.

When the man who moved into Nathaniel Bar-Jonah's former apartment read last week in the newspaper what allegedly went on in his home before he arrived, he peered up at the brown mark on the kitchen ceiling, put down the paper, and vomited.

I once bought a used cadillac one time and drove it for almost a year before I found out that a guy had blown his brains out in it. They had merely gutted it and then sold it to the first unsuspecting person they could find. Before I found out about what had happened in it I'd get chills on my back and felt like somebody was sitting in the back seat watching me. Luckily, it was a junker to begin with. The last week I had it I parked it in my driveway and turned the key to turn it off , and the dang engine would not cut off. I promptly called a junk yard to come haul it away.
