Well, look what I found, straight from the
VPC:
It happened that each of Petrosky's victims were killed by other weapons in his arsenal. However, most people would agree that this incident qualifies as "criminal use" of a 50 caliber sniper rifle.

"we have the following which contradicts you: " Well, I've been wrong before. So does that mean that Fatta either wasn't at the Austin gun show during the BATF raid, or does it mean that he didn't take one or more of his 50 calibres to one of the most lucrative shows around?

I think Lady di-fi is behind the scenes here, she has a bill afloat to outlaw all .50 caliber weopons, does she not? (searching for the link)

Hunting turtles with one seems a bit unsportsmanlike.

The .50 Caliber Desert Eagle
This would be easier to hide, and the same amount of fun?

"On February 27, 1992, a Wells Fargo armored delivery truck was attacked..."Was it actually shot with the .50 or is that another "it was present" con? I dont know this story but I would suspect that the two who were injured were inujured as a result of a crash that was engineered or something along those lines. Its pretty hard for someone to be "injured" by a 50BMG round. Do you know any specifics on the .50s involvment?
To: gnarledmaw
Sorry, but I don't know the details either. I do know that a 50 was used (or was present) in a armored car holdup, and I'm assuming that the one mentioned is it.

Do you notice that most of these "crimes" with .50's are merely possession-which, by the way, isn't a crime!
