Somebody tell gov. 'Daft' in Ohio.

And somebody tell the RNC to stop pushing gun control and supporting candidates who do!

When our concealed carry law was first passed, a number of stores posted "No Weapons Allowed" posters. It was quickly realized that those stores were the ones getting robbed. The signs came down once our sheriff convinced store owners that the folks who go to all the trouble to get a concealed carry permit are the best folks to have inside the store.

The Brady Campaign to End Gun Violence would not comment on the survey when contacted by CNSNews.com on Friday

Gee, what a shock.

"We don't know exactly how many lives have been saved or how many crimes were prevented because these felons couldn't get a handgun. But we do know that criminal background checks work."

Compare the above quote to the below quote.

"Ninety-six percent of those surveyed believe criminals can still obtain any type of firearm illegally"

The women is not only a commie, she's delusional.

any law-abiding citizens should be able to purchase a firearm for sport of self-defense

I imagine this was supposed to be "sport or self-defense." One might suspect a Freudian slip there. :-P

Eh, this MUST be nonsense. I KNOW all cops HATE guns and only want what's best for the childen'.

Oh wait, no, this just in from the Democratic National Par... This is to be expected, as we KNOW all cops are really just racist whites in the good ol boys club, and shoot lots of unarmed childen' all the time, so whatever these racist people say must be bad.

"We think it's certainly good news but it's really not surprising because we see this all the time. We think that law enforcement officers do support giving citizens the right to self-defense," said Gregory.

NRA spin alert: Rights aren't given by law enforcement, they are infringed and revoked by laws and these infringements are enforced by LEOs. "We think that law enforcement officers do support not violating the citizen's right to self-defense." That would be more accurate.

This seems like good news. Though the Second Amendment is unconditional, and it ultimately doesn't matter one damned bit whether cops, politicians, perverts, ballet-dancers, Indians, bums or astrologers like it or mot!
