I live in Houston since 1967, and during Brown's tenure as Police chief under Whitmire’s administration, crime was out of control in Houston. It was the worst crime period in over 34 years, but now Brown is striving to break his old record.
During the debate, Brown proudly mentioned his accomplishments as New York's Chief of Police! It was necessary to run him out of the city, and for Guliani to be elected; in order for the New York police to restore law and order from the chaos left by Brown. New Yorkers are praying that Brown never returns to the Big Apple. On December 1, Brown will be rooted out from Houston for good.
Just finding this thread from last night's debate. Isn't Brown the WORST debater and speaker you have ever witnessed in your entire life? He wreaks incompetency. He also looked shaken and desperate at times. Orlando could have hammered at Brown's NY record (when Lee P once again had to talk about his record of experience), but I think he just let Brown keep making an idiot of himself. Did you hear that a caravan of people are going to go down to Bush airport when Orlando is elected to cheer on changing that hideous sign? It was mentioned on 700 am.
