Those prior to the Council who did not believe Jesus was/is the Christ.. God incarnate.. were not Christians and today are not.
That was not a decision of men, men just declared that fact. The Nicean Council was not the beginning of that belief.

If you read the gospel of John, Jesus' godhood was declared there as well as from the mouth of Jesus Himself.

This long list of verses from the Holy Quran and the Traditions of Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him) show that Islam at it's core and at its source is a religion of peace. Terrorists who persecute innocent people because of their faith are not welcome - their use of Islam as a scapegoat, does not make Islam what they portray it to be.

So, lets assume that Islam is truly as you paint it, a religion of peace where the violent are not welcome.

Why are there no 'real' followers of Islam out there? Every islamic majority nation, with the possible exception of Turkey which has a secular government, is prone to violence against Christians and Jews? Check out recent violence in Indonesia, Phillipines, Sudan, all the Arab states and of course the rabidly anti-Christian/anti-Jewish rantings of the Islamics in the US.

Either Islam does not exist on this earth or Islam is not a religion of peace. The votes of probably 90% of the followers of Mohammed state that Islam is NOT a religion of peace.

It's time for the Islam apologetics to either condemn the rest of the islamic world and come out of it or shut up and admit that it's a violent evil religion.
