CyberAnt, I agree re: how to deal with disruptors. My response goes back a few posts and was originally addressed to angelo who was writing about LP and wrote:
"I'm guessing you haven't spent much time over there. The antifreepers are kept locked away in their own little cage, where they can snipe to their heart's content without disrupting the news forum. And contrary to terilyn's assertion, there is real debate over there.
I agree with Bob J and BADJOE. There is ample room for a Liberty Post or a Lucianne.com. The more the merrier!"
My first response was:

UNLESS.......some decide to become disruptors. Or post threads like "Pray For My Bush" for the sole purpose of derision where anti-FR seems to be the only topic.
I traveled ALL over LP today (first time there)...I saw MANY on different threads that felt the need to post anti-freeper posts. And many that had to brag about how they had been to FR and posted XXXX.......or XXXX. I even saw entire posts from FR copied and posted on LP...for the purpose of ridicule. When was the last time you saw an LP thread posted on FR in it's entirety?
This is counter-productive to ALL isn't it? Isn't that a bit like turf wars.......or neighborhood gang wars?
Your statement is correct ONLY if respected by all parties. But as soon as some decide to 'visit'---OR---'register' for the sole purpose of disruption, then you are right back in a 'who's sandbox is better', childish, disruptive situation, no? And.......who benefits?
IMO.....ALL lose.
So I was more discussing the two-way street required as advocated by someone from LP--rather than the best way to deal with disruptors. On that subject, no argument. Ignore them.
And sorry this is so long. :o(

No sweat!
I just hope people understand that if there were no disruptors, we would not be doing anything important.
But ... because there are disruptors, we must be on the right track.
