FR is the best archive of news, official and unoffical on the web, period. It is an excellent alternative entertainment option to the mindless TV wasteland. Some of the people here are stinkers, many are gems. I don't agree with some of what and who is banned, but it would have to ban alot more articles and people than it does though before I would consider it a fraud. The only thing that scares me here are some of the jingoists that have crept in since 9-11, their willingness to ignore the Constitution and rule of law, or twist it to their ends, to get the end they want is a little too naziesque for me.

Sabertooth, thanks for the ping. I certainly want FR to remain what it has been for all of us who rely on the site to get unbiased news and discussion.

JimRob, frankly there is no other internet site even close to the FR forum, and as liberals conduct their endless battle against free speech, free press, and literally freedom of assembly, There are no substitutes.

This is the only forum where news is reported honestly, not spun, and not really controlled by an organization with any specific agenda. Yes we have flame wars, Yes, we have disruptors, but so does any discussion board on the 'net. This is one of the few that keeps the BS to a minimum.

Jim Rob, FR is now more important than ever! We may be entering an era of repression and censorship such as America has never known, under the guise of "security". For the sake of the Constitution, for the sake of this Republic, we must keep this avenue of discussion and debate open. Whatever it takes, I say go for it. To quote the immortal words of the passengers of flight 93: "LETS ROLL". Follow the words of our President when he elequently stated "You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists". Nuff said by me...Lock and Load, I'm with you 100%

FR should STAY! There is nothing like it on the web. Jim, you have successfully created a gathering place for conservatives on the net. Without you and the fabulous service you provide... well, I don't even want to go there. What makes FR so unique is the many different POVs. And that makes it truly a valid representation of conservatives around the country.

As for the FR traitors, screw them. If they are saying bad things behind your back, then they have proven that they are nothing more than immautre children.

Keep up the great work, JR. You are truly a gift to online conservatives.
