I thank you for providing FR free of charge. I suppose I am not alone in donating exclusively to organizations that provide financial data to prospective donors. If this is a non-profit then open books are not much to ask. If it is not a non-profit, then I still love FR and hope it remains free of charge.

Your policy is reasonable when applied to organizations which claim to be giving funds or services to the needy, or other non-profits where you aren't getting any personal benefit from donating. However, since you're here and posting and saying you love this site, obviously you are getting something you value. If you go ahead and make a contribution to help continue the site, you're just paying for what you've already gotten. No way you can get cheated; the goods have already been delivered and you've already accepted and used them. Please pay.
