My initial instincts were that HOWLINFR was a parody of the worst aspects of Guilder-think. But, after going through and carefully excising her personal attacks, I am now no longer certain. There was an intensity of passion in her posts which would be difficult to fake. So, I offer the question up to the forum as a whole. Do you think HOWLINFR was the REAL Howlin or a Guilder parody? I look forward to hearing opinions, arguments, and evidences on this question from all concerned. So, let the debate continue!
Now, how could Sam have been critical of you for announcing to the forum (shortly after recieving word from our mutual friend) that the Howlin posting to Reunion was a fake -- when you hadn't done that at all?
OK, this is the last time I will try and explain this to you. That thread was posted later in the afternoon AFTER my announcement that HOWLINFR was a fake, AFTER my suspension of the fake Howlin's posting privileges, AFTER my publicly stated inclination to let her posts stand as parody, AFTER strong protest of same because many, including Sam and JenLart, believed the fake Howlin to be as real as a heart attack, and AFTER I acceded to their sensitivities and deleted the fake Howlin's attacks against JenLart. That post was a statement of my newfound doubts after hearing the arguments of many that the fake Howlin was real and many protests regarding my early (and what many saw as unfounded) declaration that the fake Howlin was fake (based on our mutual friend's assurances).
