Say it ain't so.

Those who want to keep it going speak up I figured that's what the "Memo" section of the personal check was for.
(Assuming you've received my last one, trust you get at least a small laugh in the midst of the chore that is addressing the issue of supporting Free Republic.)
A humble suggestion (which should only underscore the site's true worth): Auction off blocks of time in which to surf the Archives with some sort of time-sensitive user ID ... =)

Some people on here recently are "morons" and only want to destroy this site because we are bringing out the truth. As for some others that you are reinstating, their are just flat out obnoxious and rude!
This site is too valuable to see it go away. I am more than willing to pay a monthly fee to continue to post!
As far as the accusations are concerned, they truly have to be "morons" or people from the Wash Post or LA Times that are trying to get their hands on the financial paperwork of FR. I have seen so many disruptors recently that I cannot believe it and I have to ask why? We must be hitting some nerves of the media and the RATS for all the disuptors that keep coming out of the woodwork!
I vote to keep FR going if there is a place to vote! FR has done such a service in getting the truth out that it would be win for the media and the RATS to have this website shutdown or curtailed!
As for the folks you are allowing to come back on FR and post on this thread, please keep your eject button handy because they probably cannot bring themselves to stay only on this thread!

For many people, Free Republic is their internet home and they (we) would be lost without it. I've contributed before and I'll be glad to do so again. Bring on the Freepathon!! I was inspired to travel to Washinton for the March For Justice and I have been a fanatical Freeper since.....Please keep up your good work. It is appreciated.

Jim. I will support you and FreeRepublic.Com as long as I am breathing. You have done more to promote the conservative movements than any other person in the country IMHO.
Bog Bless you, and remind me again where I send my check?

Please keep your site going.
Like Bill O'Reilly said on WorldNetDailey about GW;
"But hiding in the weeds, biding its time, is an enemy with its sights trained on Mr. Bush. This is the same foe that ambushed Bush's father in the early '90s and President Clinton throughout his tenure in office. This covert enemy lives to bring down the powerful and successful, and the attackers don't need bombs, anthrax or bullets. They use ink and innuendo.
The same is happening here and is no less different. Keep your chin up and charge if you must.
However, I sincerely hope you get a boatload more from donations and get to put a little in your pocket to boot just because this site is so great!
You earned it!

Stay. I don't agree with everyone on here and like it that way. This is an excellent and invigorating forum. You are doing a great job!!
To: Jim Robinson
Okay folks, time to belly up to the bar. Pay for what is important to you. Make a monthly donation (FR has a GREAT monthly debit program!) and keep this breath of fresh air alive.
I salute you, Jim Rob, and all who work to keep this forum alive.

You have to be kidding Jim, You are the Rush Limbaugh of the internet.
BUMP!Don't let get ya' down....

Well I don't know about others, but I am an addict. I have been haunting this site for years and I cannot get away....I have found many fantastic things here and I have watched as the enemies have grown as the freepers succeed in rooting out the fraud and abuse that grows in this country like a wild cancer... These are the times that will try our souls. Our fight is not with our enemies, but with ourselves....The enemy is relentless, and funded by our own tax dollars...We must find the strength to press on as it is our duty to God, country, and our very own children....If we fold now, how can I ever explain to my indentured servant children how we gave up the fight when the going got tough.....tell me how to send money, I am overdue....

We're the American Street, the Greek Chorus, and the Grassroots wrapped into one. It's a wonderful site.

I'm with you. I love FR. Those who don't appreciate it can just go away. This is a wonderful site.

I, for one, want it to remain. There is something that I have noticed since my short time as a member here; people like to come on here and pick certain threads and start in whining and griping. I have had experience with this as all of you have had. I also have my own community on MSN and have experienced it firsthand. Many people don't get it through their heads that the nature of the Internet is the same as the nature of television; you don't like what you see, you are not forced to remain view it. If people don't like this site, there are other sites to go to. If people don't like certain threads, no one is forced to read them. People need to grow up.
KEEP FREE REPUBLIC!! WE CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE IT!

P.S. If it takes more than $35, so be it. The news alone is worth the price of ANY newspaper subscription!

Without FR we'd never had Bootyist monk's immortal "I'm a bad Republican" nor would it have been mutated into several dozen versions.
