Listening to Rush right now, and he is going to read the article to his listeners after the break which is coming up momentarily.
Doing a little twisting there are we? Pat put his laser on the Reform Party, took it along with Falani and her backers. When she failed to keep in step with Pat's principles, she got booted.
Bob Dole a shoe-in! Your kidding, right?
I'm not. With Pat it would have been a lot closer even do able. For backing Dole over Pat, Rush helped set us back 4 years.
And current PRESIDENT Bush was such a sucky candidate that he is PRESIDENT.
Granted, in spite of being a sucky canidate, losing the popular vote, we come home conservatives squeeked in with a Electoral majority of one. Next time we won't be so lucky.
Now, would you like to lay out Pat's electoral history? Lets see... loser, loser, loser, loser. Let me know when he gets a win.
In 92 his electoral history made him the keynote speaker at the GOP convention. In 96 as electoral runner up he ran the GOP platform committee which dumb Dole trashed.
Pat got devoured by the elites. All the 'praying' and 'flagwaving' going on now, is vindication of Pat's America 1st insight. Yep, I think Pat's ideas are winning and so too eventually will Pat.
Maybe if he hadnt gotten spanked in the primaries. Oh, and Rush backed Pat in the primaries in 1992 over President Bush in case your have forgotten.
I'm not. With Pat it would have been a lot closer even do able. For backing Dole over Pat, Rush helped set us back 4 years.
Again, Pat got pounded in the primaries
I think Pat's ideas are winning and so too eventually will Pat.
I doubt Pat would win an election for dog catcher. Though it shouldnt be to hard to improve on his whopping 1% in 2000. Did he even get that much? I can't remember.
Now don't get me wrong. I like Pat. But Pat's die hard supporters (a dozen or so total) crack me up with their honest belief that the "next election is ours!"
Georgia FReepers...time to go fer the jugular with Senator Miller!! Either he's a Patriotic American and will rid this Country of a Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy, or else he--Zell Miller--is also an Anti-American, Pro-Terrorist Ba$+ard like Leahy and Schumer!! You can force the issue...and non-Georgian FReepers will help out however we can!!

Who cares whether or not the left is "shitting bricks"?
What matters is whether or not Bush's actions are Constitutional. They are not. Neither were FDR's. (Indeed, the Supreme Court explicitly stated FDR had no authority to intern Japanese. And, the Supreme Court upheld FDR's military tribunals only in the very limited context of 'unlawful beligerents' -- a class far narrower than those under the jursidiction of Bush's EO.)
They are wildly waiving their arms about and screaming "Unconstitutional! Consult congress! Civil Liberties! You can't do this!" Well, he can. Reason, FDR and the Supreme courts constitutional approval. Rush is pointing out the lefts hypocricy and failure to grasp reality in this situation.
Rush is no less a hypocrite. Indeed, perhaps even a greater one.
Is Bush now allowed to perjure himself? I don't see why not... Afterall, Clinton did. Right?
Rush hasn't even mentioned his name in today's show, but Zell Miller has the Power to change the Dynamics of the American War on Terrorism...and Georgia FReepers should be the ones to lead the charge to force Zell Miller to do exactly that...NOW!!!!
If you could provide a link to the contact numbers and addresses for Zell Miller, the Georgian GOP Congressional Delegation, the Atlanta Newspaper and other local GA papers, and any local conservative talk show hosts in Georgia, we can use the Power of the FReep to make Senator Miller choose now..."Senator ZigZag, are you with the Patriotic Americans who are fighting the War on Terrorism, or are you gonna stick tight with the Senators Leahy and Schumer who are doing their Socialist DemonRAT Best to Obstruct Justice?!!"
Senator Miller's response to that question will determine his political future...OUR JOB as FReepers is to ensure that he is forced to answer that question...NOW!!!
Thank you in advance, my FRiend...MUD
Sigh...
It is intellectually consistant to say that something lesser does not reach a certain threshold though something greater does. It is something different to say that something greater does not, but something lesser does.
Ain't it about time y'all forced Senator ZigZagZell Miller to decide if he's gonna keep supporting the anti-American DemonRAT Party that continues to Obstruct Justice in the War on Terorism...or is he prepared to change his Vote for Senate Majority Leader?!! NOW!!! You have the Power to force his hand...shouldn't you exercise that Power?!
FReegards...MUD
there's an old saying from the 60's I actually agree with, and it's true, 'you are part of the problem, or part of the solution'. "None of the above" is the solution. The "above" in washington is the problem.
Good point- I still don't know what to make of Miller- he was wished on us by clinton wannbe Barnes... & I sure did not like him as Governor!
Ditto, backhoe.
Miller is hard to figure but, in that case, it's best to ride him hard. I think we might have a chance in getting Miller to do the job on this.
As an aside, I had the surreal experience of speaking with Gov. Maddox for half an hour in his garage last week. If Zell is anything like Gov. Maddox, the Demos shouldn't count their chickens yet. (And Maddox did give Zell his first appointed job.) One of my favorite quotes was in response to my Dad's statement of introduction to him, "Governor, it's an honor to meet you but I'm not sure you'll want to talk with me. I'm a Yellow Dog Republican." He said, "I'm not a Democrat or Republican. I'm Lester Maddox." If I had any doubts about the sincerety of that statement, it was gone by the end of the visit. The entire conversation was a mix between a history of contemporary American politics and a roster of Who's Who In Government. The two people he had the least respect for were LBJ and "Peanut" Carter. At first I thought he used "Peanut" as a term of endearment; by the fourth time it was very clear it wasn't.
We haven't had a GOP governor since reconstruction, and you think we can force his hand?
Nice try. I'd still rather have him in the democrat party, than McCain in the GOP.
