"Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time"
Aaaaahhh!!! I can't get that awful song out of my head now!

"A Holly Jolly Christmas" by Burl Ives. Yeah, I know what you mean, it is kind of tired. But I like it and give it a few spins each year. How can you hear that song and NOT be in a good mood!
As for that McCartney song, how could I have missed it! I believe the title is "Wonderful Christmastime" and the chorus goes "Simply, having, a wonderful Christmastime" over and over again. McCartney's vocals are awful and there is practically nothing to this song except that repetitive chorus. Obviously this was a throwaway from one of the early "fan club" records that the Beatles used to put out.

It's a hol-ly-jol-ly Christmas. That one and...Oh by gosh by golly, it's time for mistletoe and holly, oh by gosh by jingle, it's time for misteltoe and Kris Kringle. (Bet you love that one too.) Argh! Other than those two and Elvis' Blue Christmas, I haven't met a Christmas song I didn't like.
