Without chemical or nuclear warheads, these missles have almost zero tactical value. They are useful only to try to scare the population.

They are useful only to try to scare the population.Isn't that the definition of terror?

Sure. I'm just saying that these missles are basically worthless from a military standpoint.
To: Rodney King
True enough, but this is a really bad time to be making high-profile weapon transfers!
Besides Egypt and North Korea both deserve a good thumping!

And we give the Egyptians how much a year in foreign aid? Screw that - if they can afford IRBM's, they don't need my tax $$'s!

we give the Egyptians how much a year in foreign aid? Last I heard 1.9 billion $. But that is offset by the factory we set up to produce 200 Abrams tanks a year. My take is that we keep Egypt buying from the n. koreans(and whoever else is selling) so that we can see whats for sale. ;-) After all most of Egypt is under water with a few dozen well placed bombs.

In short (in the minimum) I would deduct the value of the purchase from the aid and state that they obviously didn't need it for any purposes we would approve with the aid.

Before the war on terrorism is over, we need to take care of the little gook "great leader" that currently rules North Korea.
He is psycho case that needs a quick trip to his eternal home - Hell.
The North Koreans leadership represents a real danger to America and our Far East allies.

hmmm...this was denied by an Egyptian spokesman on FOX today. Who to believe...who to believe...

Sure. I'm just saying that these missles are basically worthless from a military standpoint. LOL! Unless of course you wanted to take out the 15 major cities of Israel, with 10 left over for giggles. Assuming that there are no warheads is like deciding that the bank robbers gun is empty and testing it with your head. I think that if they can buy missiles they can buy warheads too, Hmmmm? I bet ole Sadam will donate a few hundred kilos of Anthrax for free.
