Agreed. Remember the DU bastards celebrating Rush's deafness. We're better than that.

It's for the money ... and also for political power. We can't have the peasants able to shoot back, that wouldn't be good for our totalitarian socialist plans for America, now would it?

I'll bet real money that she becomes an "anti-smoking activist" before Christmas. Any takers?

I'll bet you! She likes cigarets but she hates guns and that's why she became an "anti-gun activist." My guess is she'll be smoking until she is too ill to inhale. Oh well, one less gun hater to deal with. I don't feel one bit sorry for her. We all live with the choices we make. She has to pay for her own choices.

In fact, if the murder, robbery and rape statistics went through the roof, she'd gloat even more, having achieved her goal.

Crime statistics have never been a concern to the Brady bunch. They simply don't approve of the great unwashed masses having access to guns.

We all live with the choices we make.

We also have to live with the choices others make. I have to live with her unconstitutional gun laws. Pisses me off, actually.

I have no sympathy for her. She is an enemy of the Constitution and of all freedom loving people. The world will be a better place with her not in it.

I sure hope you did not critize the homosexual group that put up the website hoping for a "slow painful" death for hetrosexual Christians. There is an irony in this, but not a gloatable one.

OK. Simple bet. $25 from the loser to be donated to FR. (Don't worry, I'll probably forget.)

The rules: If there is an article in which Sarah Brady is quoted using the words "Big Tobacco", "cigarettes out of the hands of kids", "the tobacco industry" or a cigarette maker (like Phillip-Morris) by name, you lose. Also, if another news source refers to her as an "anti-smoking activist" or "anti-tobacco activist", you lose.

Also, I reserve the right to appeal to a neutral third party (agreed to by both of us) if I think she has become an activist but for some reason, the above phrases are not included.

I can only use as my sources articles posted on FR from legitimate news orgs (not vanity posts) on or before 11:59pm (PST) on 12/25/01. If I cannot produce them by 1/1/02, you win.

I honestly think this is going to happen!

Smoking, like all addictions, begins as a choice, like choosing to drive off a cliff- but once gravity takes over it is difficult to reverse things. Even if you choose to be back in control, your chances for success are slim. The law of survival is neutralized by the law of gravity, and survival depends upon the power of one's will to survive.

I do not and I cannot agree with Sara Brady's crusade against handguns, but I can identify with her need to define and despise what she perceives as the monster that altered and redefined forever, what the relationship between her husband and her would everafter be. Anyone who has ever loved someone, must surely understand her feelings and motives.

Sara Brady, If by some chance you happen to read this, I beg you to consider just how important your life is to the one who means the most to you. He has had more than his share of un-merited abuse from life, and deserves to live out the remainder of his days with the woman he loves.

Death would be prefferable to old age without my own darling Ruth. Give up those cigarettes-Sara-your man needs you more than your addiction.

Live! Dammit! LIVE!

Sorry to hear this Sarah, honest.

I also hate what you and your husband did to our Second Amendment, Honest.

I guess you think they're idiots too

No.

#1. I did not use the word idiot.
#2. She earlier switched to low tar cigarettes on the theory they would be "healthier" but got lung cancer anyway. Anyone who believes cigareets are in any respect "healthy" is not too bright.

When W and Ashcroft face death I wonder if they will rethink their assaults on American freedom

Be specific. Name all of these assaults on freedom that the citizens of the United States are being subjected to by Bush and Ashcroft.

Maybe her anti-freedom organizations aren't bringing in enough money right now?

Better switch to smoking. It has been demonized to effectively profit from it(I am not an advocate of cigarrette smoking).
