Too late for me. Filed mine at the county court house 32 years ago. Maybe it's buried under so much dust by now that no one will ever find it. Filing seemed like a good idea back then; I actually knew a guy who was drafted during the Korean war because he had lost proof that he'd served in WWII, and the DOD was not in the mood to look it up for him.

I guess it depends on where you live. Here in Oklahoma, the County Clerk told me that if I need a replacement copy, phone them, and they will send it to my home address. If I go there, they will STILL send it to my home address. NOW I just need to figure some way to keep this address when I move...
